I was honoured to be invited to the closing event of Google Digital Garage in Leeds yesterday, October 23rd. There were many interesting people and businesses there, as well as inspiring stories of new entrepreneurs seeing their ideas find mass audiences after receiving advice from the Google Digital team.
greenYgrey Fashion Innovation
I could showcase my books there, as well as publicising the greenYgrey brand. My books of course include my fantasy travel by Google Maps trilogy, so Google arriving in Leeds was kind of weird, in an X Files kind of way; with the third of the trilogy of course an X Files parody.
Double Tie Fashion Innovation
Perhaps inspired by greenYgrey fashion correspondent, Stella Lagerwolf-Bruno, who is one of the stars of the X Files parody nearing completion; she was inspired by Stella McCartney, Karl Lagerfeld and Bruno; Marc wore a double tie of green and yellow with his grey shirt to promote the greenYgrey.
It was a new fashion innovation as far as he knew, and still is the way he wore them: one over the other and knotting them together.
He googled it to see if it’s original, and the closest he found was that 1980s movie Back to the Future featured a double tie worn in… wait for it… 2015. However, their double tie is two separate ties.
