New Football Season and Sporting Success

It was a tale of two greenygrey goalies’ shirts yesterday, as golden greenygrey jersey holder Tim Krul didn’t wear his greenygrey goalie shirt, and a challenger to his crown, Joe Hart of Manchester City, did. Manchester City won 2-0, meaning Hart kept a greenygrey goalie shirt clean sheet.

New Football Season

The English Premier League kicked off on the weekend, and a new football season means new greenYgrey goalie shirts. Joe Hart wore a greenYgrey shirt very popular at the Brazil 2014 World Cup, primarily by Brazil goalie Julio Cesar.

Brazil’s sad demise in the semi-final might have put goalies off that greenYgrey goalie, but Joe Hart bravely stepped into the exact same design, and was rewarded by a flawless performance and three points 2-0 win for his team.

Tim Krul didn’t wear his greenygrey shirt, but he has got a great new design to call upon this season:

Talking of genius new designs, there is also a great new design in the Championship, with Leeds United designing a camouflage goalie shirt that creates a whole new paradigmatic  field of greenygrey goalie shirts:

It was unfortunately not worn on Saturday, as Silvestri kept a clean sheet in Leeds’s 1-0 win over Middlesbrough.

European Athletic Championships

Team GB won the European Athletics Championships for only the third team by a clear three golds from France after a five-golds Sunday took their medal tally to a record-breaking 12 golds and 23 medals. The previous best was 9 golds.

Gemili and Kilty tried to celebrate with a team gYgboo (greenYgrey boomerang), but Kilty’s concentration seems to have been exhausted by the relay baton exchanges, affecting his coordination.

A team gYgboo isn’t as easy as it may look, and probably shouldn’t be attempted after an afternoon of intense team concentration in other important activities beforehand.

England Won Women’s Rugby Union Cup

There was plenty of boomeranging as England won the Women’s Rugby Union World Cup. Emily Scarratt showboats with a one-armed gYgboo using the ball and background to create a great greenYgrey effect on her way to a try and 16 personal points as England beat Canada 21-9 in a thrilling final.

England had lost the previous three finals to New Zealand, and enjoyed their win with a great team gYgboo using field, stand and central player:
