Bear Grylls and Stephen Fry in Dolomites

Hi, it’s Harry Silhouetteof-Wolfhowlingonhill, once again catching up with the great greenygrey television selection from the festive period.

Bear’s Wild Weekends

Like the Thirteenth Tale film featured in yesterday’s BBC highlights blog, there was a glut of greenygrey in Channel Four‘s Bear’s Wild Weekends shown on Christmas Day. scan0013

And linking with Sunday’s Everest view blog, Marc Latham has also hiked in the Dolomites.

Bear Grylls and Stephen Fry in the Dolomites Documentary

In the programme, outdoors expert Bear Grylls took indoors expert Stephen Fry out of his comfort zone and into the Dolomites.

Moreover, there was a body, mind and spirit theme to the documentary, like in the Werewolf of Oz. The two of them discussed that topic, as well as Stephen Fry’s bipolar disorder, after Fry said he’d never felt so alive.

Everybody can see an example of the greenygrey mountains, waterfalls, trees and fields in clips on the Channel Four website. This is one’s cover shot:

The whole documentary is available to watch on Channel Four (only in U.K. I think) for another seventeen days.

Disclaimer: Stephen Fry was accompanied by an expert, so please don’t go climbing down mountains on your own.
